Maria was born in 1946 in Slovenia and arrived in Australia in 1970 with her family. She has worked as a Gestalt therapist since 1994 and has worked in addictions and family therapy for over 15 years. Maria was introduced to Family Constellations in 2000 during a Gestalt conference. Struck by the immense healing power in the work, she immersed herself in training both in Australia and Germany. She has trained with Jakob and Seiglinde Schneider, Jane Peterson, Albrecht Mahr, Chris Walsh, Bubula Lardi and others, and attended the international conference in Cologne in 2005. Maria continues with a passion and commitment to Family Constellations work and facilitates workshops regularly in Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
